Approach & Services
How I work.
My approach is integrative but rooted. Most of our work draws from three traditions — existential, psychodynamic, and ACT/somatic — woven together in whatever way best serves what you're actually here to do.
Existential Therapy
Existential therapy turns toward the questions most of us spend our lives quietly negotiating: autonomy, meaning, mortality, freedom, and isolation. Rather than treating these as problems to solve, we let them in — and listen for what they ask of you.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic work explores how earlier experiences — relationships, losses, the small moments that shaped us — continue to live in present-day patterns. We trace those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, so they can begin to loosen.
ACT & Somatic Work
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and somatic practice bring us into the present: mindfulness of thought and feeling, contact with the body, and small acts that move you toward what you actually value. This is where insight becomes life.
"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response."
— Viktor Frankl
Specialties
Common reasons people reach out.
Anxiety
We'll get to know your anxiety — not just its loud symptoms, but the deeper signal underneath. We can work with the body, the breath, and the stories anxiety tells, while also asking what it might be protecting you from.
Depression
Depression often arrives as flatness, exhaustion, or a kind of distance from your own life. Together we tend to it gently, exploring meaning, loss, and the slow returning of energy and care.
Relationship Issues
Whether you're hurting in a current relationship, recovering from one, or noticing patterns you'd like to understand, we can look at attachment, communication, and the parts of you that show up in connection.
Grief
Grief is not a problem to be moved through — it's a kind of love with no place to land. I offer space for grief to be witnessed and integrated, however long that takes.
OCD
I work with OCD using a blend of ACT, exposure-informed practice, and a deep respect for how exhausting intrusive thoughts can be. We move at a pace that builds trust in your own mind.
Neurodivergency
An affirming space for ADHD, autistic, and differently-wired adults. We won't try to make you fit a mold — we'll work with how your mind actually moves.
Life Transitions
Career changes, identity shifts, becoming a parent, ending a relationship, leaving a place. Transitions ask big questions; therapy can be a place to listen for your own answers.
